Inspired by this Hanukkah menorah in the Skirball collection, the artist has inserted Babette Bloch’s modern Hanukkah lamp into a light bulb, reminding us that Hanukkah is the festival of lights, evoking the tangible meaning of the word “lights” as well as the metaphorical.
